Much More Music

W

hile the Tally Hall album is delayed a couple weeks, (you still have a chance to pre-order it on their website, www.tallyhall.com, and with it you’ll get an autographed copy as well as some secret bonus stuff) you should pick up Mike Doughty’s new CD “Haughty Melodic.” He was the former lead singer of Soul Coughing. Good album. Great album.

I have tickets to see Fiona at The Tower in Upper Darby on December 8th. Jeeeaaallloouuuss????????

What flustered confusion today! What ghosts spoke of 505 when 509 was what hit? Intense! I’m writing in grey again….

Chat with Tally Hall

I

have managed to put together a chat for fans of Tally Hall to meet in a chatroom with the band members. If you think you’d like to join us, here’s where to go:

http://www.thecarpetedwall.com/tallyhall/chat/

The chat event will take place Thursday, October 20th, at 9pm EST.

Newd Is Play.

O

h lawdy lawd. I received my Zippo display (finally)! And it’s so nice to finally have one like this. Take a look at it with the rest of my Zippo colletion! It’s so nice. So pretty. So nice.

I also broke down and finally got a new cell phone. I gave up a $15/month plan including unlimited texting and a fair amount of minutes… for this phone which I now will have to pay $49.99 a month for the plan and multimedia package (texting, email, etc) It’s the Motorola V551. Perhaps it’s because I have just finally paid off my car so I have some extra spending money for each month? Yesssssssss!!!!! Perhaps it’s because I can put Tally Hall songs as my ringtone? Yessssssss!!!! Perhaps it’s because I’m a moron? Yessssssss!!!!! Hey, at least I got to keep the same number — which I worried I might not be able to do because it was under a dealer/retail plan.

Thank god for these little freelance jobs I’m doing. I’d be on the street if it weren’t for them. It’s unfortunate there are so few good companies who are hiring for web designers. I’m being picky about where I want to work. Maybe I shouldn’t be, looking at my financial situation, but I am. With a little luck, I’ll get something soon.

I’m in the mood for a chocolate chip cookie. You?

Bid Now!

What To Do About Nothing

S

o apparently I’ve been chosen to make a decision that tests not only my faith but spirituality and lack thereof. (I’m just sounding dramatic for the effect.) I am blessed, you see, for the heavens have opened up and shown down upon me.

The Woman who knew not the touch of man who went by the name of Mary
has touched my hand and given me burdens I cannot carry.
She hath presented Coz with a cheese-lined message.
This bread and salt has formed a mighty presage.

I, too, have found a Virgin Mary Holding Baby Jesus Pretzel.
And I wonder if you all think I should sell it on eBay like these people did. So?

Here’s mine. Take a look!

Good Day

F

or all you Tally Hall lovers that I’ve created… the first song from their new album has been released on their MySpace page. Go here and listen: http://www.myspace.com/tallyhallcom

Every week from today until the release of the album, they will be posting a new track, so keep checking back!

Now, just before I found they posted this, I received the new Fiona in the mail. Good Day indeed. I’m gonna listen to that album as soon as I had enough of the Tally Hall track.
