Hello. Just here announcing the newest addition to The Carpeted Wall family of websites.
www.fastpixels.com, the website for Sergio Rojstaczer and his photography. In the near future, you will be able to view your recent event on the website and order prints directly from it. Give your event’s password to friends or family and let them order the ones they want, too! Take a look around, we hope you’ll enjoy.
I’m worried about Dan… http://www.startribune.com/stories/462/5243712.html
So I’ve won the first round of a karaoke contest last night. This is a contest running nationally and could result in a trip to Orlando where the BPAA International Bowl Expo is being held and a grand prize of $5000. Also, it doesn’t mention anything in the link (and perhaps this has since fallen through) but there was talk of the winner getting to open for Chicago-the band. My win was good and I am happy, but keep in mind they are picking 2 winners a night for 12 weeks from my location alone. I am amongst many, many winners until the next round of finals in May. I’m excited — it should be fun!
Please note: The comments on the blog below this one…
Demetri Martin. A young comedian whom I’d like to spread around the 12-grain slice of bread we call the internet. Watch the video clips (the ones that are working) and tell me he’s not one of the funniest people you’ve ever seen. Go……!! www.demetrimartin.com
As I search the web, I find that he was, and may still be, a sketch writer on Conan O’Brien. For more sound clips of Demetri, go here.
Oh my god I just found my new favorite band. If you’ve ever liked anything by The Beatles, Ween, and They Might Be Giants, and pondered over what they’d sound like if they molded into one band, you’d have Tally Hall. I recommend going through their entire website and listening to ALL the tracks, watching EVERY SINGLE ONE of the hilarious (and well produced) videos. It’s simply amazing that these guys are still “un-knowns” but that is sure to change in a matter of months. Surely. If you know me, you know I am not easily impressed, yet there is nothing I don’t love about these guys.
