I hate reality shows. Not because they’re trendy, but because they’re just plain dumb. When I first saw the advertisements for this new show, “My Big Fat, Obnoxious Fiance”, I thought it was the most god awful idea I’ve ever heard. But I happened to watch the first episode and found out all about what the REAL plot is. I was hooked. With each episode, I found myself closer to the characters and hoping for the best.
The finale just aired and although I knew it was going to be a chaotic and emotional last episode, I had no idea I would become a faucet of tears while watching this. How evil this was! How beautiful and evil this was.
FOX TV be damned for putting a family through such hell and be honored for the homage to the kind of love every family should have. Be honored for exploiting it’s love and be honored for helping to test such a love which is necessary to strengthen and maintain it.
In order to keep the eternal flame burning, the rain is a necessary battle. You must learn to embrace the rain, for it is all you have to learn from… to grow from.
Message to Randi Coy: Congratulations. Good luck in your future. Here’s to many days of eternal flames because you’ve had enough rain for quite a long time.
