Finally…. A JOB!

I’ll be starting work in 2 weeks for George’s Music. I’ll be working in their Berwyn store (a.k.a. = corporate store). Their main offices are literally above the store. This is where the heads of the company have their offices. I think this is a good opportunity for me, working so closely with them. The intention is to move me into management as soon as possible, yet still taking as much time as necessary to ensure my knowledge of the company procedures. This means it could be 6 months or 2 years.

A Perfect Circle (APC) is having their show tonight at the Theatre of Living Arts (TLA). Their opening band is “Pigmy Love Circus” (PLC) which also includes a member of TOOL (Danny Carey on drums). This, is an amazing event. And in such a small venue. I missed out on tickets but I could go down there and sit outside after the show in hopes of a meet & greet session. If I had someone just as excited to do so with me, I’d go. But in reality, what’s an autograph? Even if it is from one of our generation’s greatest and most influential singers and songwriters. Even if it is from one of the greatest drummers ever to walk the earth. What’s an autograph anyway? A way to prove I met them? How can one say you really met someone if all your conversation consisted of was:

“Hi! Love your stuff! Keep on rocking, bro!

Here…. could you make it out to Coz?”

……

“C – O – Z”

……

“Yeah, Z.”

……

“Zeeee….

…as in Zebra.”

Maynard James Keenan? Yeeaaah…. I met him. *wink*
