I’ve been working on some sites lately, mainly for Joel Perlish. But I told Kurt Vile I’d be interested in making one for him since all he has is this. I’ve only been working on Kurt’s for a day and he won’t even be around to give me any feedback for at least 2 weeks. He isn’t even expecting me to do anything. But I’d really like to do it. He’s crazy and would probably like a funky looking site… something to suit his music. WHICH, BY THE WAY, he “released” another album at the wedding and gave out copies to everyone. Really nice stuff. He has a song for John on there, too. The album is much more subdued this time around, with a lot of finger-plucked folk infuence. He’s really working on some groundbreaking stuff, we all agree. Here’s design #1 for Kurt. Only the HOME page and NEWS page work, and the news is actually a bio… just because I needed something to write in there.

Joel’s is still in progress but I’ll be sure to link to it when I’m done. It’s very difficult for me because Joel likes the current design he has and I wanted to really spice it up and turn it into something eye-catching. But he keeps pulling me back down to the old school world of web design, using a lot of the graphics he currently has. I’m not complaining, mind you. I design for the client, not myself. (heh… I have clients. lol) Anyway, it will be better than what he has now, but don’t expect much of a change.
